Summary:
The EngineerGirl Writing Contest encourages students to explore the role of engineering in everyday life by writing creative essays. The 2024 theme is “The Secret Life of Everyday Items,” asking students to describe the lifecycle of an everyday object and the engineering involved at various stages. The contest is open to students in grades 3-12, divided into three age categories (elementary, middle, and high school), with cash prizes awarded to winners.
